About Us
Doreen's Hull is a family run charity and was co-founded by Sue & Ashleigh, a mother and daughter team who are passionate about helping the local community and making a real difference to the lives of others.
They are joined on a daily basis by Chris (Sue's husband and Ashleigh's dad) and are often joined by Kirsty and Lyndsay alongside 3rd generation family members Maisie, Sofia and Alexa.

Who was Doreen?
Born in 1936, Doreen grew up with her 4 sisters. She later married and had 4 children herself. Life in post war Britain was hard but this didn't stop her from helping where she could.
Doreen passed away in 1975 leaving behind a legacy of community spirit, help, support and a commitment to making a difference.
